If for any reason you are experiencing any difficulty with your TV service, below are the possible reasons for the issue and how it can be fixed.
Channel freezing
Issue: This is caused by the set top box resource running low.
Fix: Power off then restart the set top box using the remote.
No signal
Issue: Incorrect television input selected.
Fix: Check to see which input is connected to the TV, then confirm the input source that should be selected in the TV settings.
Press the ‘Input’ button on the TV remote then use the arrow keys to choose one of the input sources on the screen. Confirm the selection by pressing the ‘Enter’ button on the remote.
Input sources includes: HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, AV 1 and AV 2
Blank Screen (All Channels)
Issue: Incorrect television input selected.
Fix: Check to see which input is connected to the TV to confirm the input source that should be selected in the settings.
Set Top Box (STB) not powering on
Issue: The STB is unplugged or not properly plugged in.
No power going to the STB.
Remote not working.
Fix: Check if the power cable is properly connected to the back of the STB and plugged in a working power source.
Check if the power cord is plugged into the correct port on the back of the STB.
Unplug for 10 seconds then plug back in.
Check if battery in remote works.
Service Temporarily Unavailable
Issue: Ethernet not properly connected.
Drop fiber damage.
Modem offline.
Account barred/deactivated.
Fix: Ensure Ethernet is properly connected to both STB & modem. Remove and reconnect same at any one end.
Check to ensure fiber wire is properly connected to the modem and not bent.
Confirm that the modem is receiving electricity and respective lights are displayed.
Ensure account is not barred/deactivated.
Particular Channel(s) not showing
Issue: Channel is not a part of your subscription.
Global outage on that particular channel.
Fix: Check channel guide to confirm if the channel is a part of your subscription.
Live chat with an Agent to confirm if it’s a global issue.
Restart STB.
